David Swift (actor)

David Bernard Swift was an English actor.

He was born in Liverpool, Lancashire, the second of four children born to Abram and Lillie , who owned a furniture shop in Bootle. He was educated at Clifton College and Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, where he studied law. He then embarked on a career as a businessman with his fatherinlaw, J.P. Jacobs, whose company supplied all the elastic to Marks amp Spencer.
